Today's the day! I ship off to Europe in about 5 and a half hours... seemed like a couple weeks ago that I had decided to go on this trip. I don't know how it snuck up on me like this. One second I'm applying for the trip, the next I'm going home for the summer, and then bam! time to leave for Germany. I'm definitely nervous about the trip, but also quite excited. It's awesome to think that in two days I'll be in class in Marburg and then next weekend I'll be in Munich, then the next in Berlin... it's definitely going to be a FAST 6 weeks.
I've been attempting to pack my life (at least all that is necessary for 6 weeks of it) into my new bright yellow duffel... turns into quite a disaster.
Two hours until it's time to head to the airport... hopefully I can turn the mess into something resembling a one checked bag and a carry-on, the latter being the more difficult. Wish me luck!
